actually i think it's NOT post MCIS, and the reason for that guess is that jimmy flemion's hair is long. He cut it off during the mcis tour. When i met him in feb 97 it was really short. I'm guessing this was right before billy went all the way with shaving it (and i can see why he did, judging from that shot!)

These pictures are all funny, albeit for different reasons. Well, actually...maybe not-so-different reasons. They're all pretty fucking dorky, in one way or another.

Maybe it's just me, but I would NOT want my entire name embroidered onto my otherwise nice terrycloth spa robe. Wearing a nametag always made me feel like a complete douche.

I'm LMFAO at the prom comment. Sad, but true. He looks awkward. I mean, holy hell...is it just some sort of unwritten rule that men, when in formal dress, must set their hair with copious amounts of style gel? Yeah, it's about as flattering and sexy as those damned cumberbuns.

Well, sort of. Billy has always been able to grow that "puberty stache" (there are some Gish-era pictures where he clearly hasn't given his upper lip a clean swipe in a few days.) However, it was really only around the time of Machina that he started to actually sprout those hairs elsewhere on his face in such sufficient quantities that it became disturbingly noticeable. There was kind of a transitional period in the Adore era where he was finally able to get the stache in a little thicker and also grow some chin hair (though not yet in those other regions.)

Latest picture: SD era, sometime in 1993. There's slight hair lift on top, and it's not receding. It's after he got the major haircut from long hair, but not before it started growing out again throughout 1994. Plus, it's a natural color--not dyed black. (So that would rule out a great deal of time in 1995, right before he shaved it.) Nor is it short and thin enough for the MCIS era.

P.S. yeah, it looked like "shave pussy:" to me, too! I write reminders on my hand occasionally, too...but not like that.
