But i did hear in on AG, and I hear it live EVERYWHERE. What I meant by the studio singing being worse than the live singing wasn't completely referring to the dropped consonants. I just meant that in general, aside from the consonant issue, he's singing much better in a live setting than he used to, whereas his vocals on cd are not as good (to me) as they were on previous albums. But that's more to do with the way his vocals are so loud, in front of the mix, so dry. The consonant thing I've mostly only heard live though. I told everyone that they were perfect and everything they did was mind-blowing, it pretty much was and then these little moments started to appear on record. All of a sudden I recommend the Pumpkins/Billy Corgan to someone they check them out and they're just as likely to hear Pox, Starz Le Deux ex Machina, or hmm alt as they are something mind-blowing as their first listen. It's kind of like a centre forward who averages 30 goals a season for their first 10 seasons and then for their last 8 or 9, they only score10 thus severely damaging their seasonal average over a career.
