So, as we all know, Siamese Dream has layers upon layers of guitar tracks, which, I would argue, make the album my favorite of all time and everytime I listen to it, I can track a drop in, or some guitar track I never took notice of before. So in the interest of ignoring American Gothic and all that mess, let's talk about the album that is....uh...the best album ever, as far as I'm concerned.
I'll do Cherub Rock!
0:32-0:37 - The first! Live, it was played as James's part, but on here, is clearly just another track.
And just before the vocals enter, it sounds like a voice cracking at 0:55
1:25-1:42 (2:20-2:37) - When the chorus starts, you can hear what seems like 12 guitars playing the d chord in unison. It even sounds like a pic is hitting the strings.
3:10-3:32 - The solo. That's not necessarily a drop in, but oh well.
3:34-3:36 - The high pitch drop in behind the "seeecrets"
3:40-3:42 - This sounds like something crumbling behind "believe this"
3:45-3:47 - "secrets"
3:48-3:53 - High pitched humming from a guitar track
3:54-4:08 Usually played by James live, the main end "solo"
4:10-4:31- You can hear the humming/feedback of a guitar
4:20 - It sounds like someone messed up and it skips, or D'arcy and Jimmy added extra beats...it's very subtle.
You can hear a guitar doing the
E--------------------
B--------------------
G--11\9-----13/14
D--------------------
A---9\7-----11/12-
E-------0-0
basically till the end.
Someone do Quiet!
Or I'll drink more and do it myself! Inaccurately!
