i think the logos are a good representation of their music through those times:

heart: pretty
cross: angular
green day: shitty

org heart. cross is second. shitty heart is 98th.

im a fan of the Gish and Adore eras. Logos are for corporations, not bands.

My personal favorite is the cross one.

I actually hate the SP heart in all of its forms. It's so "girly". Like they asked a 10 year old girl to come up with it.

The cross is just as simple, but much less girly.

i like the heart one. it is good. i don't think a football makes a good Christmas present.

Yeah... I like to pretend that it's just a cross-shape design, not a symbol of religion. The fact that it has an "X" in the middle helps me believe that.

The cross is such a cool shape to have been tarnished with its symbolism.

For me the heart is my favorite logo, though I think the artwork and layouts were the best on Machina and Adore... though I don't like the music on those albums as much as the rest. The separation between artwork and audio preference is... obtuse? Is that a good word for it?

The heart is timeless. That will always be the true SP logo to me. The new heart is awful.

I do like the Machina one too, but too many people think it's "Stone Temple Pilots."

I love the original heart. I over-used it in high school, though, since my initials are also "S.P." I'd draw a little SP heart after my name on every homework assignment and test. Pretty embarrassing, looking back.

You are correct in the definition, though I feel you are incorrect in my overuse of the word.

i think my friend is using the same font in her book as the machina font. it is a nice one
