Yeah, I really like the triangle light set. I actually almost had more fun during SOME parts of the show I went to watching the lights doing crazy shit than listening to the music.

i was always happy with them coming to north america later in the tour, i figured the band would be tighter, more songs in the sets, and so on.

even about 20 days after my show in st paul they pulled out WTBFTT and STRTJ, oh my god so jealous! but can't wait for them to swing around again.

I loooooooove the lights during "That's the Way." The flashing--ah! But really, I do love these lights. They weren't nearly as blinding as I thought they'd be in person. I loved the lights during Rocket (electric). it just washed the stage in blue :)

Maybe they just want to get pictures of the band? I really don't think it's anything more than that. When they're waving it in the air and blocking people's views that's one thing, but I took plenty of pictures of my crappy digital camera, and I love them. So THERE.

that light tower was very cool. a giant cone of lights behind the band. i remember while seeing sp during the mcis tour, they opened with wbftt and pulled back a big black curtain, revealing the tower. there were even a few guys perched up in it. this is the only pic i could find, but it isn't very good. i have some video of said concert that i'll dig out and post.
