This is seriously as disappointing as when i saw the American Godzilla for the first time. Of course, Godzilla had more meaning to me, being a fan since i was young, but this feels just as bad because it doesn't really seem like anything new. Just a mutant Iguana mixed with a T-Rex. I guess i just had too high hopes but i suppose it's not the worst it could have been.

no, it's impossible to make a good kaiju flick in america. I could never come up with anything half decent. I just wish they'd just put a little more thought into it than just that thing. Who knows though, it could look totally epic in the movie.

honestly, the most interesting thing about this monster is that it seems to have a smaller pair of forearms closer to its body. that is something that really intrigues me.



The giant forearms remind me of Orga from Godzilla 2000.

I watched the film tonight for the first time. 7.5/10.

I thought it was a great suspense-thriller.
I lol'd at people who complained about the handicam-nature of the flick. Like they didn't know, going in.

i don't know if it was the fact that they didn't know but rather the fact that it made them nauseous...some theaters actually had barfbags and warnings for it and when i saw it i could hear people puking in the bathroom when i had to piss.

I puked :p But I didn't complain about it, I pretty much knew that was going to happen. It didn't help that we ate crappy mexican food beforehand, and the theater was like 80 degrees.
