View Full Version : Limited Edition SP Memorabilia Available after Feb.1 marisa 01-09-2008, 02:58 PM From SP com: The limited edition memorabilia will be available after Feb. 1st rolmos 01-09-2008, 03:00 PM woo hoo? smashkin33 01-09-2008, 03:01 PM and i feel heavy metal! but as for that merch- there's a lot of stuff i rather spend $300 on. rolmos 01-09-2008, 03:03 PM A new mp3 player where you can download SP's next album for free? smashkin33 01-09-2008, 03:05 PM naw. how about booze or vacation money! exactlythesame 01-09-2008, 03:37 PM "A re-release of American Gothic w/ a making of DVD" marisa 01-09-2008, 08:29 PM They actually changed it and said it's available now. MaryAnn272 01-09-2008, 08:42 PM omg is the discographie sined by james and D'arcy????? markpregen 01-09-2008, 10:30 PM I assume Monte has already purchased the limited edition memorabilia? Nate the Grate 01-09-2008, 10:36 PM Haha who the hell would buy any of that? I like how Zeitgeist is bigger than any of the other albums in the discography thing, and it's right in the middle. redhawk 01-10-2008, 12:12 PM I'm thinking about the autographed discography, but I wish I knew if it was numbered or not and how many they have. If they only have a hundred or so and it is numbered, I would buy it right now. My luck, I will wait and then find out later there were only a hundred of them and then I'm too late and then will look on EBAY and see them going for $5,000. skipgo 01-10-2008, 12:18 PM i don't know what's going on with all of this "limited edition" crap, but i give it a thumbs down. a big fat :noway: DamingR 01-21-2008, 11:55 AM If anyone cares, I called FEA Merchandise, the company that runs the SP webstore and talked to a nice lady about this stuff. Here's what I found out: All items are approximately 24"x30" She believed they would all have metal frames The products are being made by: http://www.steinersports.com/ssm/control/home?gokey=steinersports The band was scheduled to autograph the discographies and microphone displays last Friday at the Steiner offices The signed discography is the top seller, followed by the microphone, unsigned discog, and then the drum stuff, and the items are selling much better than they had anticipated. So there you go. If you were on the fence, that might help you out. It made me feel better about the items, because Steiner is a very reputable company. T&T 01-21-2008, 12:00 PM the items are selling much better than they had anticipated. So there you go. If you were on the fence, that might help you out. if someone was interested in "collectible memorabilia" i'm sure they'd be less inclined now that the items are "selling well"... MisterSquishyHalo 01-21-2008, 12:04 PM if someone was interested in "collectible memorabilia" i'm sure they'd be less inclined now that the items are "selling well"... Not everyone collects memorabilia because of how much money it might be worth one day. <sp3 01-21-2008, 12:12 PM they have had that headware section for months.. but no headware. I could go for a sweet SP hat. Electron52 01-21-2008, 12:15 PM the albums one has greatest hits but no earphoria... they shoulda left both out or included both. skipgo 01-21-2008, 12:21 PM i guess i just don't get the idea of paying for an autograph. I got bill's autograph the first time i met him, didn' t have to fork over any cash, and it has a hell of a lot more sentimental value than something i might have purchased from the internet. I realize that some people haven't had a chance to meet the band and therefore might have to find another way to get the autograph; but to me an autograph doesn't mean much when it doesn't have some amount of sentimental value. Maybe this is why billy suddenly stopped signing autographs in 2007... he knew he wouldn't make as much money if he was giving them out for free. All that said though, I know there are collectors who like to have this sort of stuff, so i guess this sort of thing is aimed at them and not haters like me. ;) wilch 01-21-2008, 12:51 PM skipgo has a small penis skipgo 01-21-2008, 12:51 PM so small it doesn't exist, in fact. wilch 01-21-2008, 12:56 PM ok then... TCM has a small penis? RockLobster 01-21-2008, 02:13 PM ok then... TCM has a small penis? TCM = thick cock monster Mo 01-21-2008, 02:22 PM OMG I CAN BUY FAKE USED DRUMSTICKS FOR $300!! Twineball 01-21-2008, 02:30 PM I want them to put the Zeitgeist belt buckle in the web store. I was going to buy it at the show, but the line was so damn long, I just said I'd buy it online. Well... no dice. skipgo 01-21-2008, 02:35 PM there's a zeitgeist belt buckle? bja1288 01-21-2008, 03:36 PM $100 goes to the first person in a photo with real friends rocking the zeitgeist belt buckle smashkin33 01-21-2008, 03:39 PM cigarski may or may not have obtained one when he saw them this past fall. and where are you getting this $100 from!? bja1288 01-21-2008, 04:20 PM pics first, fundraising later smashkin33 01-21-2008, 04:30 PM i like the way you think. CIGARSKI TO THREAD! BRING PICS! DamingR 01-22-2008, 06:59 AM I want them to put the Zeitgeist belt buckle in the web store. I was going to buy it at the show, but the line was so damn long, I just said I'd buy it online. Well... no dice. The belt buckle is on there. Kahlo 01-22-2008, 07:18 AM it explains why after every show the setlists have been taken away by an SP drone, and placed in a protective slip. God damn, I hate this band at times DamingR 02-07-2008, 09:13 AM OMG I CAN BUY FAKE USED DRUMSTICKS FOR $300!! Yeah, I don't think so. The good news is that this thing is bad-ass. The bad news is that the drum head became detached during shipping and now it has to be sent back for repairs. And I'm not the only person who is sending theirs back for repairs. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x178/Duster72/2248817098_34dcdbb1fe_o.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x178/Duster72/2248817070_528a46e22d_o.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x178/Duster72/2248817040_555218e347_o.jpg skipgo 02-07-2008, 09:58 AM those pics are definitely more interesting up close than they are on the site. So what's all that writing, is that jimmy's gossamer cheat-sheet? DamingR 02-07-2008, 10:15 AM Yep, it's the Gossamer cheat sheet. Pretty awesome IMO. The Gaddrow 02-07-2008, 11:53 AM WOW. That is indefinitely cooler than I had anticipated. When someone said that Steiner was putting them together, I had some hope, but I still did not expect it to be that nice. If they had announced the runs in advance, I would have certainly bought one. pale_princess 02-07-2008, 11:55 AM please give bill more money peeps! skipgo 02-07-2008, 11:59 AM i think it's cooler than i assumed it would be, but there's still no way I'd spend 300 bucks on any of it. I'm happy with my (free) pick that i got from billy, and James' pick from 97. They were used during shows like these drumsticks and heads were, and i didn't have to fork over any cash for them. SP has enough $$ by now. pale_princess 02-07-2008, 12:01 PM i have a james pick  Charmbag 02-07-2008, 12:07 PM this is embarrassing the smashing pumpkins? never heard of em |
