I'm guessing its not just me, but I've become used to listening to 90% of my music on headphones or car stereo. I guess this is what digital forms of music have done to our society? Anyway, I made a cd of American Gothic and played in on some sweet Bose speakers I got for X-Mas.
Not that an awesome system is going to make the music better, but it does have the power to make the music sound better.
That being said, I've come to really like AG. I know I will love it in time and its kinda like their X-Mas/New Years music gift to us. I needed to stop judging SP so fast and I think I accomplished that with AG.
Billy and Jimmy got it going in the right direction with this one and if they build on their momentum with the upcoming leg of the tour and new record while including the New 3, we should be in for a GREAT next record.
Not that it matters, but from my new appreciation for AG, here's my ranking of how the songs are my favorites...
1) Rose March (yes, even the intro is great)
2a) Sunkissed
2b) Again
4) and the only 2 things I like about this song is the bass tone and chorus hook, other than that I realized this isn't a very good song at all: POX.
