Okay, the real question. What the hell happened to his voice between TFE and now?? did he contract tuberculosis or something and he can't get enough air to connect his consonants with the rest of the word? " I c..... an'tss... ing"

is this movie any good by the way??

I'm not the only one who thinks this movie is highly underestimated...
it's a visual masterpiece, stunning drug-cinema, shocking at the beginning, heartbreaking and beautiful in the end. and if you say it's a requiem for a dream spin-off, you're totally missing the point of the movie imo
Highly recommended,s erious.

as for the top 5:
something like

Gossamer
Wasting Time
Now and Then
That's the way

whoa whats he talking about there Billy never sings about sex

In one of the residency songs... "Promise Me" he says "She riddled me with sex like magic sound" or SOMETHING like that.

So there.

And there are countless other lyrics I could reference if I felt like it.

I'm just now realizing you might have been trying to be sarcastic or something. If that's the case, then ignore me.

^Sunkissed is really good. American Gothic was growing on me a little bit but I played it tonight and I was already sick of it. Except for Sunkissed. This song will stand the test of time for me, because its probably one of the very few Zeitgeist era tracks that actually attempts something different, notable the brush work, the hazy organ. its a very summery song. since when does a Billy song evoke atmosphere anymore? Good song.

I'm ashamed to admit that I have never heard the often raved about Djali Zwan songs. :noway: Actually, I have heard Think You Know, but that's it. With that being said, these are five post-SP1 from the B0lly that stand out for me:

1. Mary Star of the Sea (I always fast forward through Jesus, I.)
2. Stellar
3. Mina Loy (M.O.H.)
4. Bring the Light
5. I'm Doing The Best I Can

I'd throw JC's Life Begins Again on the list, but as far as I know, B0lly had nothin' to do with that one.

I was very meh about this song, too. Especially since the first I heard it was set to that Power Rangers video. However, after I saw the version with just Billy on acoustic and Lisa on piano from the Fillmore(?) I completely get it. That song is sublime.

Just goes to show how many amazing songs get ruined by "creative" production.

It's a great song. I love the piano version and I've worked out an acoustic fingerpicked version that I must say sounds good.

Yeah it does matter, this is the top 5 best songs billy has written post sp1, not the top 5 best songs made post sp1.

Dude, what did I just say about the guitar riff? God, you're an idiot.

they cut off all the sex talk here. it ends with her saying that she remembered the great sex and he said "i don't".
i remember seeing one where she kept bringing it up and he wouldn't acknowledge what she was saying.

or maybe i'm insane and made the whole thing up. Or maybe this is a different video than the one posted in the billy, courtney, kurt thead and i'm just too lazy to watch it again to find out.

No you're right.. that's just the best I could find..

you just don't like it cause of the gay vocals and whole 'we are starz' part. it's not a bad song if you can get past that. some of the parts are really good actually

um, he/she said it was an awful song already? I should have said 'most people' I guess, but from the Kidz Bop comment it seemed to be a rag on the vocals.

Nevermind it's some of the best, aggressive drumming I've ever heard from SP. I take this song and U.S. as Jimmy's response to all the cries for "drum solo" during zwan.

Well you take out the drumming, and that song is nothing. Without the drumming it becomes one of the worst pumpkins songs.

I'm listening to "The Empty Sea" right now. I forgot how freaking amazing this song is... ugh... Billy laughs mid-song. It's wonderful.

I love Zwan :)

...and again, I realize how awesome Zwan could've been...

Can anyone explain to me why everyone sees to like Death From Above so much? I have listened to that song countless times trying to find the appeal and have yet to understand it. Worst of the Zeitgeist tracks in my opinion.

One of the worst Corgan-tracks ever, actually.

I actually remember listening to the Paris bootleg and thinking Starzwas was going to be one of the best tracks on Zeitgeist. There is no denying how great that song is live. I do not hate the album version as much as everyone else, but it certainly is not one of my favorites.
