there's always a risk that great things like this have been posted before but for those who haven't seen it yet, there are a number of brilliant interviews online with a really funny interviewer who apparently fronted the nation of ulyssess before. i especially recommend the will oldham and ian mckaye (?) one, really funny.

well it's a vice thing, i just thought you'd be above it because it's narcissistic and whatever. never mind

anyway, chan marshall made some good music so whatever about her personality

so you think i'm not interested in hearing funny interviews with musicians that i like period or is there somethine inherently narcissistic about these interviews?

it's obvious that i have stumbled upon something that the loser teenagers on the music board thought was exlusively theirs and now that i know about it the value of soft focus have plunged. it's hard nowadays to keep anything secret with the internet. don't worry rockin' cherub i don't listen to fugazi, but i listen sporadically to black flag and mission of burmas first record, which might cause problems with your world view and i'm sorry if that's the case.

no i appreciate that very much. i don't know what my world view has anything to do with it. i just wonder why you're always so conscending towards listeners of indie rock when you listen to similar things yourself
