Also, in the Fall Gap adult side had "That's the Way (My Love is)." Oh their sneaky tactics to push cableknit sweaters.

christmastime is a wonderful song, easily as timeless as any traditional christmas song. terribly underrated. not many artists could do a really inspired christmas song but this is definitely one of them.

Hearing Christmas Time though made my day at work, provided sanity while I fold little pink dresses...otherwise BabyGap is torture for a 21 year old male to work at...i much prefer working the adult side...more attractive people on that end.

Here here ! I was very dissapointed when i first heard this song. I bought the CD thinking Sp would do some rocked out alt X mass song and instead it's pretty much solo Billy thinking he is Bing Crosby.

I can empathize with this. What strikes me most about Christmastime is the fact it's written from the point of view from a parent, which seems like a really odd choice, considering all the childhood angst that was so prevalent in the work leading up to this (and the fact that Billy doesn't have any kids). I've begun to feel a little weird and sad when I listen to it because it makes me wonder if he thought he would have a family of his own by now.
