so a few of my friends and myself used to make art together a lot, and we had a lot of shows together in various galleries around the city. We decided to give ourselves a name, we were like a band, but with art instead of music. we called ourselves skipgo. Eventually everyone moved to different towns and states to go to grad schools and whatnot. I kept the name for myself. so there you go.
(i still don't know what it MEANS, but that's where i got it, anyway)

prayer is a communication. i find that communication that is accurate gets the job done. wether you're talking to God or ordering from Dunkin Donuts. if you can communicate what you want accurately you have more of chance of getting just that! :) not that God gives you whatever you want. but accuracy is a very valuable thing

some prayers are just like thoughts floating up to God so there's no right or wrong way to go about it in a prayer (dont try this while ordering a donuts)

i agree. you dont have to be very specific when you pray but you could if you wanted to.
accuracy in communication is very important. for example: have you ever dealt with an insurance company on the phone? the clearer the communication the less painful the experience. :)

Prayer isnt about telling god what you want, god always knows what you want. Prayer is an exercise in humilty, its realising your human limitations and affirming gods power, thats why it has such an intregal role in worship.

Try to think of it not as you informing god what you want, but of you saying i love you this much, i love what im praying for this much and i believe in you this much to get down on my knees and do this with my mouth for you, for the sake of my children or my husband, or whoever im praying for, i will wrap my tongue around this and please you.
