Had a similar experience with the Hidden Palace music in Sonic 2 though.... silverfrick 11-30-2007, 05:11 AM Shit, I know exactly what you all are talking about. So can anyone relate to crying to the music during Ice Cave in Donkey Kong Country at age 11. C'mon, someone step up. cardiac 11-30-2007, 07:08 AM I never could access the final secret level of Donkey Kong Country 2. I missed two or three DK coins that were required. Sometimes I fantasize about re-buing SNES just to finally beat that game 100%. It has been haunting my dreams for a long time now.. I'm actually listening to the gravity demos for the first time ever and I'm completely shocked about how good they are. ChristHimself! 11-30-2007, 08:13 AM why don't you fantasise about downloading zsnes and a bunch of roms cardiac 11-30-2007, 08:16 AM It's just not the same, ChristHimself BiIly Corgan 11-30-2007, 08:38 AM is like the time i put the secret code in sonic 3 which gave you access to the sound test and then being weirded out when i came to the music for levels that didn't even exist in the game this is why i don't like your kind listening to my music only somebody with your racial handicap would say something retarded as this Skradgee 11-30-2007, 11:43 AM I had the triple stacker...Game Genie + Sonic & Knuckles + Sonic 3 Plus I kept trading in my game systems and eventually had that setup with a 32X on a Sega CDX. So can anyone relate to crying to the music during Ice Cave in Donkey Kong Country at age 11. C'mon, someone step up. Why did you cry from the Ice Cave music? Mayfuck 11-30-2007, 07:09 PM I agree with silverfrick. The ice cave music was needlessly sad for that level. Mayfuck 11-30-2007, 07:10 PM some good ambient synth in the SNES DKC series tho. Delicieuxz 12-01-2007, 12:28 AM :erm: We're talking Donkey Kong Country 1, Ice Cave level? That music is way happy, not a hint of sadness in it! null123 12-01-2007, 12:38 AM god I had this song stuck in my head yesterday and I couldn't figure out what it was. it turned out to be the miniboss music from Sonic and Knuckles... how embarrassingly obvious null123 12-01-2007, 12:42 AM and I don't think the Ice Cave music is that sad. it's typical Rare music, kinda cutesy silverfrick 12-01-2007, 12:49 AM Just something about it made me sad. I don't know dude. DKC had some great music to the levels though. The one where you have to make spider webs in the air to get across the level; that one had really sad music too. null123 12-01-2007, 01:02 AM <EMBED SRC="http://vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/Dk1ice.mid" hidden=true *********=true loop=1> avsfan7733 12-01-2007, 03:39 AM i love the music for the level in sonic 2 where you are standing ontop of the plane... it makes me sad whenever i hear it..
