View Full Version : ipod help? deadaswarhol 11-17-2007, 12:07 PM i made a couple compilations of SP b-sides, etc. and made a track order for them and all that. and when i have my ipod plugged into my computer, itunes shows it in the right order, but when i'm just listening to my ipod, the first couple tracks are moved later in the album. anyone know why this might be? thanks dean_r_koontz 11-17-2007, 12:09 PM the machines are revolting. get a terminator silent_brian13 11-17-2007, 12:10 PM if you go to each song individually and right click, click get info, then look at info there is a box on the right that says track # of track #. if you fill that in it should work (like 7 of 26) deadaswarhol 11-17-2007, 12:11 PM yeah i did originally. they're in the right order when i'm in itunes, but not when i'm just going through the ipod deadaswarhol 11-17-2007, 12:15 PM nvm i figured it out. it was that damn "album artist" thing. i was only paying attention to "aritst" and didn't notice some tracks also had "album artist" filled in with SP. apparently that negates the track order. whatevr. thanks brendo_91 11-18-2007, 05:28 AM The ipod sorts by album artist, yes. AFAIK it's always dropped "The", putting the pumpkins between Slayer and Sörskogen for me. I like this. |
