Thaniel Buckner 10-26-2007, 10:25 PM also, there's someone like once a week who has a heart attack.
and there are defibrillators on the walls in glass cases.
everyone is fat.

I asked my doctor if I could have it too...but he said I have to gain like, 80lbs before I'm considered fat enough.
*sigh*
no more twinkies for me then...
oh! and you know that crap about losing weight while breastfeeding? it's total bullshit. i've been an all-you-can-eat buffet for three months and i've only lost 10lbs.
i've also never eaten a twinkie in my life... :(
bardy 10-26-2007, 10:33 PM how much weight did you gain during your pregnancy?
7 of that was baby, btw.
There was probably a few pounds of fluids too, and placenta.
The rest was all chub.
I was really, really careful about not gaining a crap load of weight. But I still want to lose more than that.

i know this can be construed as ignorant because i'm 6' 145 lbs, but really, don't the laws of thermodynamics dictate that the less you eat, the less fat you'll be?
I really can't take pills for it. I'm still nursing. I'm not that fat... I can do it on my own. It just sucks.
sickbadthing 10-26-2007, 10:42 PM you still work in a call center, right john?
that's like fat people preferred work since you get to sit on your ass all day.
Thaniel Buckner 10-26-2007, 11:25 PM don't i know it. tech support ain't so bad, but the customer service department is all fat white ladies and black girls who chew gum which sounds disgusting with this high sensitivity headset mics.
MusicMan4 10-26-2007, 11:28 PM i really want to get this surgery
my life would be perfect if i was thin

Yes and no.
There is the chance that the less you eat, the more your body retains due to a slowed metabolism since your body essentially acts like it's starving and stores more fat instead.
There's also the part about it being really, really unhealthy to crash diet and rapidly lose weight. That's probably just as unhealthy as being overweight. I think it's better to consume slightly less of the caloric in-take needed on a daily basis. If a person is more active, they have a higher need. That way, weight loss is gradual- but more long-term.
sickbadthing 10-26-2007, 11:34 PM exercise is a stupid waste of time

Thaniel Buckner 10-26-2007, 11:40 PM exercise is a stupid waste of time
in before me.
newsflash: exercising speeds up your metabolism.
i know how to lose weight. i've done it before. i just had a kid. we take a 2 hour jog every day and i guarantee you that i eat a better diet than almost anyone else here. it just takes time and that fucking sucks.
i envy those gastric bypass fucks who gorge themselves for decades, go nappy-nap for a few hours, wake up and drop loads of weight in 6 months.
Thaniel Buckner 10-26-2007, 11:45 PM you know what kinds of complications can arise? i mean the fact that you would consider it in lieu of dieting and excercising like every other organism in your bloodline means you obviously don't.
sickbadthing 10-26-2007, 11:47 PM i just had a kid.
Really? I wasn't aware of that.
Thaniel Buckner 10-26-2007, 11:48 PM i wonder if he's into kink.
Dr. Phil 10-26-2007, 11:50 PM i wonder if he's into kink.
More into stink I am guessing.
Sheeeeeeesh.
I randomly asked my doctor about it once, like, years ago and mostly in jest. All he said was that I wasn't nearly fat enough to even be considered by any surgeon. He also said that my cholesterol and blood pressure were the envy of america and I should stop obsessing.
Most of the shit I say in here isn't totally serious. Like the bit about twinkies, or about how major surgery is akin to going "nappy-nap". I've never seriously considered it because I'm not out-of-control, 900lbs unable to walk. I believe in being healthy. I eat organic, I don't take medication unless totally necessary, I haven't had red meat in years, I breastfeed my kid and I stay active.
I would love to wake up one day and have a perfect fucking body. who wouldn't?
Dr. Phil 10-26-2007, 11:55 PM Stink as in stinky diapers. Get it? I tried to make a funny. :D

piss it out your ass
A lot of people where I work have recently been fired for smoking weed on the job. Haha, dumbasses.
The Pashing Smumpkin 10-27-2007, 12:11 PM I've recently dropped a fuck load of weight and am having corrective surgery next year to remove excess skin. Something to look forward to I guess.
1-2-ya-dome 10-27-2007, 06:24 PM it's true that diet and exercise won't work in everyone's case. some people cut down to only 2 boxes of twinkies a day and then try to go jogging... their body thinkgs theyre starving and refuses to gvie them energy, so they end up laying on the ground unable to move
ohnoitsbonnie 10-28-2007, 12:35 AM i just came back from the hospital. thankfully it wasn't too bad this time. only a triple bypass
1-2-ya-dome 10-28-2007, 01:16 AM i just flew in from cleveland... boy are my arms tired
ohnoitsbonnie 10-28-2007, 01:25 AM i've never had a twinkie
