i hate it live.. it is a set killer. and it just pisses me off, it makes me think of the machina mystery and anyone who was around during that era most likely has the same feeling

Call me crazy... I love this song, and it's even better now. I like that billy's playing machina songs. It shows that sp is picking up where it left off, more or less and moving forward-- not just playing the hits like Aerosmith or something.

im not that great with the downloading stuff yet. soon enough though. it seems like with that concert though some of the songs stop before they are finished. is that because the taper's recording thing didnt get it or is that because my computer wont load it. like how utube stops and starts (which totally aggra's me. it is one of the most top annoying things on the planet to me beside my bf's radar system. i cant STAND radar systems, and i dont use them and when they go off they are so irritating- thanks for listening) also the songs are like one song behind when it gets to 1979. there is no name for 1979 and so its one song off after that. its nice to hear the show though. most definately

Much to my surprise, GATGC was one of the highlights of the Normal show for me. I get why a lot of people hate it, but I seriously just think it's crazy-good. There's so much atmosphere, and the last minute is so intense.

Plus, Lisa is wonderful, and she gets an opportunity to show off :)

on 9 19 it was one of my highlights. It is the audiences time to calm down talk and all that jazz but i thought it was fuck'n great. Are their any songs you fuck'ng people do like?

I don't mind the song as much as what it does to the crowd. It's a total buzz-kill. If I were judging it on the basis of how good the performance is, I would give it an A. The new arrangement is a big improvement and there's a lot of musicianship involved. Unfortunately, it tends to get pretty boring and 99% of the people in the crowd hate it, myself *******d.

I think Ruby, Porcelina, or Soma would go over much better if he has to play 15 minute songs.

This song along with Heavy Metal Machine are the only gripes I have of this tour, as far as the setlists are concerned. Both are the same to me in that I didn't like the original MACHINA versions of 'em, and I don't care for these "new & improved" versions of 'em currently being played on tour. It's especially frustrating when considering how lengthy these two songs are.

i really like the new HMM, i liked the old one too...
both of the glasses are less than thrilling for me, but at the very least hmm keeps some measure of crowd interest.

I think it is alright. Most of the people at Normal got a little too relaxed during it, but I thought it was pretty cool. Definitely more about atmosphere than sheer entertainment, though.

I like it, but they should leave it off most setlists, ESPECIALLY festivals. Replace it with Rhinoceros or Porcelina or something. I'd love to see what Lisa could do with Porcelina.

yeah, i like the new G+tGC all right, but there are much better songs they could be playing during that precious 2 hours. like Ruby or Rhino or Porcelina, etc

Davin was passin' `round a fatty. Everyone was too baked.

Keeping on topic, I didn't mind the GATGC, but I think 1100ww was right... that the crowd would probably respond better to Ruby or Rhino or Porcelina.

HMM was good too, new incarnation and all, but I've always been a fan of the album version and wouldn't have minded that either.

i'm sorry to say that i have seen them do it live at least 5 times now (old and new pumpkins) and it sucks. it sucks it sucks it sucks. it even alienated an audience of nothing but hardcore pumpkins fans at the fillmore. let it die please. if he still has this ridiculous need to play machina stuff then he should play the age of innocence or something. NOT heavy metal machine (which incidentally was incredible and mindblowing at the fillmore, it was like it kept getting heavier and heavier and heavier and never stopped, but now on the tour completely sucks) , and certainly not glass and the ghost children. thanks for listening. or not.
