asked my boss yesterday for his blessing on me applying for the new position. he gave it to me and even did the pope cross-in-the-air thing. that was nice. I was soooooooooooo nervous to initiate a conversation like that. He was really understanding and supportive of me doing whatever makes me happy. I think I have developed a small chip on my shoulder though due to the stress I have been under for so long for something I could have done myself months ago (but was told to wait). I keep saying offhanded semi-cranky comments (that I dont even mean!) to upper management. They probably don't even notice but I do and I need to stop. I WILL STOP RIGHT NOW.

Yeah they make decaffinated moutain dew but you probably have to buy it by the case or something, I don't think they sell individual cans of decaf md in the pop machine.
