i find myself laughing AT them, rather than with them. except for the manager, he is hilarious.

i really like this show

I really love these guys, I enjoy the lowkey humor of the show. But man, their composure live is pretty amazing, on par with Conan's. I mean they can keep those deadpan expressions on their faces as long as they want to.

we've been warned against this, several times in fact

it's kind of funny to me that all these people know about them in the states. since they got their show we've barely heard anything about them here, and they're only just about to stat showing the first series of their show on one of the not so major channels in a week or so.

i've never heard these guys til now. that was inspired.

yeah i wasnt trying to bring about a chat thread or anything, i just thought people from new zealand would know more about them than americans did because thats where they originated. im sure they've at least created some buzz over there.

i still havent seen a full episode of the shows, just clips and youtube live videos. a couple of my friends told me about them recently, i really enjoy their act. im looking forward to eventually getting the dvd and watching the season.

Haha, yeah I know man, I was only joking. I seem to recall hearing the most about them through pitchfork actually, though that was when they signed to sub pop I think. Like I said, them getting their show gained a bit of attention, but I imagine they'll become much more well known when the series starts.

i saw them live a couple of years ago and didn't hear about them again until the tv show came along this year. i don't think they have a big profile here really

got a hold of the show about 6 months or so ago and absolutely rattled through it in a couple of days

absolutely love it. got the album as well which has some minor changes in production and lyrics on some songs.

some of my mates love the songs but hate the show.

i, and every new zealander i know, refuse to watch this show cause it's just a bunch of australians trying to paint new zealand in a bad light. i've had enough. first it was all "ooh you're from new zealand, do you know frodo?!?!?" and now every other cunt i meet is singing these songs at me expecting me to sing along or finish their lines.
