JHeibel 09-07-2007, 12:18 PM You're fucking kidding me. The Houston show is going to be a festival? Hell.
Like any other festival, they're only playing an hour and a half set.

TuralyonW3 09-17-2007, 11:47 PM buzzfest is so incredibly awful
smurfing 09-17-2007, 11:56 PM it's about as bad as 94.5 the buzz
aldango 09-18-2007, 01:23 AM yeah, I know. But one of my best friends can't make the 11/2 or 11/3 shows, so we're bumming on back home to Houston for this one

hi5
redbull 10-28-2007, 10:56 PM show over now, I would assume:
United States
Bullet with Butterfly Wings
Drown
Bring the Light
Tonight Tonight
Tarantula
That’s the Way (My Love Is)
Lucky 13
>Tease [TBD?]
Glass and the Ghost Children
1979
Today
Superchrist
Heavy Metal Machine
>On the Road Again
>I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll
AndySlash 10-29-2007, 12:07 AM I still can't believe they play Glass + the Crowd Killer at festival shows. There's no excuse for it.
jonnyjj740 10-29-2007, 12:37 AM Heavy Metal Machine had a ZZ Top tease. I'm not sure what "On the Road Again" is, but wasn't there a Black Sabbath cover in there somewhere?
This show was fucking killer. The last 30 minutes was unlike anything i've seen from any band. WOW.
aldango 10-29-2007, 02:53 AM Glass and the Ghost Children and Heavy Metal Machine were so blaaah. So bad to play at festival shows. Awful way to finish it... it just went on and on... the setlist is accurate.
Drown was awesome. More tomorrow!
redhawk 10-29-2007, 08:11 AM I agree about the Glass and the Ghost Children crap. They had the crowd super pumped in N.O. and then killed it by playing that song. Even as a pumpkins fan I hate that song.
Rag319 10-29-2007, 10:55 AM I agree about the Glass and the Ghost Children crap. They had the crowd super pumped in N.O. and then killed it by playing that song. Even as a pumpkins fan I hate that song.
This is true. Totally killed the crowd. People were filing out during the song.
TheWalrusIsAl 10-29-2007, 11:34 AM Heavy Metal Machine had a ZZ Top tease. I'm not sure what "On the Road Again" is, but wasn't there a Black Sabbath cover in there somewhere?

Confirming the ZZ Top - they teased the main riff to 'LaGrange' during HMM
aldango 10-29-2007, 12:40 PM Confirming the ZZ Top - they teased the main riff to 'LaGrange' during HMM
They should rename HMM to "A Brief History of Rock Music in under an hour"
SpFission 10-29-2007, 12:42 PM I still can't believe they play Glass + the Crowd Killer at festival shows. There's no excuse for it.
agreed. it sucks. and Superchrist/HMM should not be played back to back.
Endar 10-29-2007, 10:43 PM I still can't believe they play Glass + the Crowd Killer at festival shows. There's no excuse for it.
heh thought it was one of their best songs in New Orleans, that and STRTJ were the highlights
