Let's just hope that Jeff doesn't get arrested (or stoned) for mentioning the Armenian Genocide (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial_of_the_Armenian_Genocide) on stage.

Don't know anything about that. Don't do drugs and I'm a vegetarian ;)

But back to topic, no setlist? Was it good, anybody went to that show?

People can`t access netphoria in turkey due to pictures of bare hands. We`ll never get any info on that show I`m afraid...

On a more trivial note, what's Billy wearing? Looks like a red t-shirt with some design on. Thank God it looks like we're slowly getting towards sensible clothes ;)

I agree 100%. I wasn't ever really a big fan of the album version, but I think it's been one of the major highlights of the tour so far.

Turkish colors (red/white), can't see if there's a design.

You can say whatever you want about Turkey but the sound quality at that festival seemed to be really great. At the multi-million dollar festival I went to you couldn't hear any of the guitar solos in Silverfuck.

i think i hear "come a little closer, come a little closer" which has been a regular part of it. no clue on the rest.

oh wait, i missed the other video... i can't make much of it out, but it sounds similar, probably partially improvised as usual.

Turkey is an Islamic (although officially secular) state. As much as Islam banishes portraying person's faces, it also forbids naming songs.

This might be overkill on the informative side, but here:

Apparently it was a Turkish shirt - I can’t make out exactly what he is saying but I’m guessing he wore it to commemorate their first ever concert in Turkey (it was their first concert there right?)

Here's what some guy on the official Pumpkins site said:

September 02, 2007 - Rock 'n Coke 2007 - Istanbul, Turkey

Yesterday we (me and my wife) finally made to the Rock 'n Coke Festival in Istanbul. We went all the way from São Paulo, Brazil, to see the Smashing Pumpkins - as we did earlier this year in the Grand Rex and Pinkpop Festival too.rnrnThe show was very nice, they played a good mix of old songs and new songs.rnrnThe organization gave them some more time, so they played for about 1h50m instead of the 1h30m that was scheduled.rnrnInstead of closing with Muzzle as in England, they played a very nice Silver[bad word removed].rnrnBilly stopped for 5 minutes where he told some jokes about Turkey and changed his clothes to a Turkish flag t-shirt - I have uploaded the photos of it.rnrnThe songs were (as I can remember):rnrnUnited States, Today, Stand Inside Your Love, Bleeding the Orchid, Superchrist... can't remember the correct order after those. They also played Tonight, Tarantula, Starz, Doomsday Clock, Shame, Glass and the Ghost Children, Zero, BWBW, Heavy Metal Machine, Death from Above (BC + keyboards only) and Silver[bad word removed] in the end. That's about all of it.rnrnWe managed to be in the front row cause we got a "front row ticket" - it helped a lot, cause we got pretty late to the festival.rnrnWell... all in all... the festival was so organized, much better then Pinkpop. All clean, so many places to pee and eat that you never get lines and cool and friendly people - a great experience!rnrnPS- BC is funny.

That's probably one of the combinations one can get with the songs they're currently performing.

Except for Hummer, though.
