Shapan
08-24-2007, 06:40 PM
varies, but i think the majority of the fans will say origin of symmetry. i prefer absolution.

im a big muse fan, they were incredible when i saw them live.

too many thoughtless arpeggios carelessly strewn throughout their career has made them a laughing stock.

entertaining enough as openers for the black parade though... sealed the deal making it one of the funniest nights of my life.

i remember around the time hullabaloo came out, i was on the bus one day and i got talking to this old granny sitting next to me. we saw a hullabaloo poster on a billboard when we got off the bus and she said "hullabaloo?? never 'eard of 'em!" :grannycackle: it was pretty darn funny.

I like the fact that they're not overdoing the falsettos that much nowadays. Granted, I broke a giggle after hearing it for the first time, but it got to be tiring and too gimmicky after a while.

I quite like the singles from their latest album and the piano bit from Butterflies & Hurricanes sounds lovely.

Duh, but overstated cliches and paranoia are what they trade in.

Muse are a band who sound good but are cold and dead at their core

that's the opposite of a band who sound good but are cold and dead at their core

this is an image that reminds you of the shittiest music you've ever been pumped for but looks nice and cuddly at its core

Used to be fun and promising before they got full of themselves. I remember seeing them at a club with a couple of hundred people going nuts a few years ago, that was tons of fun, shows since have been lackluster and completely generic.
