What's this Dexter show I've been hearing all about lately?

It has Michael C. Hall (David from Six Feet Under) in it, and he plays a serial killer who is also a forensics analyst in blood splatter in the Miami Police Department. It's not really big on procedural stuff at all, and I recommend it very highly. The first season comes out on DVD tomorrow, so you can probably rent it before the second season starts. Or, if you have Showtime you could probably find some way to watch it.

Sweet. Maybe I will rent the DVD when it comes out and give it a whirl-- you've always seemed to have good taste in things, and it looks like it comes with a lot of recommendation from Netphorians.

Yes, you do need to watch Six Feet Under. Emphasis on need. I would watch Dexter first though because when I got into Six Feet Under I ended up watching the entire series in like two weeks. :erm:

I like House but it got sort of crappy last season. He went from a jerk that I liked to watch to one I found really grating to watch. I will probably watch the premiere though to see if it seems any better though.

Nah, just that one, I think. I've only watched most of the eps once and a handful of them twice, but I'm pretty sure it's just that episode he says it in. Good one to start with, though!

I guess I should say I'm looking forward to Heroes, too, but that season finale was pretty weak so I'm not exactly peeing my pants in excitement or anything.
