I gave the audio a +4db in Premiere Pro becuase it was just too damn soft. No peaking after the db boost.

Appreciate the effort taping and seeding this, but you wrote that it is not synched perfectly? I'm wondering if someone on here couldn't help fix that. I of course haven't seen the DVD yet so I don't know if it's actually a problem or not, but just asking what you think. Thanks

audio syncing isn't too hard u just 1 part perfect and the rest should be fine... either way thanks for the hard work.

I set synch points every 2 songs. The tapes run at slightly different speeds, so it's not as simple as setting the synch once -- I wish it were. Generally the synch is very good and within a couple frames. I noticed when watching the DVDs that towards the end of the second song the synch was getting off. It's not horrible and I am not an idiot, but I didn't want people bitching.

I also think that Jason's tape is probably better, but I have infant twins at home and I spent about 4 hours trying to synch this before his tape came out. I am don't have another 4 hours to dedicate to this project right now.

I had a bookmark on this very issue, but it was on my previous hard drive. I remember that you had to resample the audio in some fashion that escapes me. Google it!

You know, if I had all 4 sources here and the ability to do a nice HD-DVD, I would spend the time to do all this. I decided after waiting 6 weeks, however, that you guys would rather have this than nothing. Especially since no other DVDs has surfaced from the residencies.

Yeah, I'm having that problems with 7-5-07. Its nice because due to tape flips and batter changes, I have pretty much 6, 30 minute segments. 5 of the 6 sync up nicely. Section 6 has a few tiny tiny dropouts and is annoying me. I'll sync it eventually though.

finally got to watch this yesterday...thanks.

Watching it made me remember how annoying some of the cellphone videographers were. The only part where the synching issue made me go "damn" was during In My Body, thats not bitching...just saying. Otherwise, its more than I could have asked for. Thanks again!
