It says Friday October 4.. the only possible year for October 4 to fall on a Friday in a reasonable range when the Pumpkins were playing but not yet able to sell tickets for more than $5.00 would be 1991, so here you go... email tourhistory@spfc.org for your prize

1991/10/02 Blind Pig Ann Arbor, MI, US
1991/10/03 Jake's Bloomington, IN, US
1991/10/04 State Theatre Kalamazoo, MI, US
1991/10/05 St. Andrew's Hall Detroit, MI, US

That's the same location I saw them at with Pearl Jam and RHCP not too long after that I'd imagine!

Any Kalmazoo natives around? I'm looking for info as to the 11/20/91 show. According to some Pearl Jam tour histories, the show was played without RHCP, and was at the State Theater, not Wings Stadium. Does anyone have a flyer or anything to confirm?

It is known that opening bands will stray from the headliner's tour when there is an open date (note, The Bravery are playing Milwaukee on 10/3/07 while still opening for the Pumpkins on 10/4/07 in Normal, IL -- plus opening the first half of the fall tour for SP - let alone other dates they may book). It is completely possible and apparently true that SP played this 10/4/91 show outside of the normal RHCP headline shows. What makes it even more cool is that Pearl Jam may have played it with them!! So instead of their normal 35 - 45 minute opening time slots, both bands probably got to play their own 60 - 90 minute sets. I think it would've been the shit to get to see this 10/4/91 show with only PJ and SP and would love to hear from someone who was actually there. Even if no-one knows the setlists... what were the memories?? This would've been one cool ass show!!!
