The first game shall be "Tetris Battle Gaiden".
Mainly because it's great, simple, and also because people on keyboards will be able to play. For each game, you must win 2 'rounds'.
(get the 2 smileys) You may 'chat' during gameplay, but only at your expense. (don't try to flood the screen if you're losing http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/biggrin.gif )

Ok, if you want in, just pop your AIM name down.

Later I'll pull names out of a hat and pair off people into battle.

Get the ROM here:
http://www.omlclassics.com/snes/SNES_Home.htm#list
(in the puzzle section)

the name of the file should be (and should stay) oml-tetrisbg.zip

if you need info on how to get it setup:

it's not confusing, it's just like tetris, except that you can receive 'spell-balls'. To cast spells to help you, or hinder your opponent. (to use the spell you just wiggle the D-pad frantically..or just press "up" as I have just found out http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/redface.gif)
are you in?<font color=black>

It's easy - whever you make a line that contains one of those balls, it gets stored. You can store up to 4, and when you press up on the control pad all the balls you have are used in an attack. Which means each character has 4 different attacks - usually the 1-ball attack knocks away some of your stack, 2 is defensive, 3 screws with the other player... or something. And when you make lines they get added to the bottom of the other player's stack - easy http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/smile.gif

If the japanese is troubling you, all you need to know is that the first option on the menu is 1-player, and the second is 2-player. Forget the story
