What a fucking amazing experience that was. It was my first Pumpkins show ever, and what a perfect way to be introduced to them... by being three feet away from Billy Corgan, front row center, for two hours, during the last performance by all four original band members.

It was indeed an amazing show... my favorite Pumpkins show that I went to, that's for sure. Roxy Arising... phew. Amazing show.

I was also at that 8/4/00 one, FunnyGeezus... and yes, that date was right. Good show, but I was so thrashed after a full day in the pit against the bar that I barely remember their performance.

it was between that one and 4-10-99 in detroit. the first show jimmy was back. it was awsome. 5 hour drive but awsome!

The only Pumpkins show I attended was when they opened for Kiss at Dodger Stadium on Halloween Night, '98. MadTv filmed Cash Car Star when they played it. The Pumpkins came out dressed as the Beatles and played a cover of "Money". It was cool.

Not to mention, the signing just down the street in Mtn View, where I went through the line TWICE! (However, the second time was to get Monty a signed poster, since he was holding everyone's spot in line.)

My very first Pumpkins concert,
although people have said the tapings of this show sucks big arse. I was front row center, holding on to the rail for dear life & thinking/feeling this is awesome !!

i have a difficult time deciding between 4/29/00 and 11/1/96.

i would say 11/29/00 but my seats were soooooooooooo far away, high up, and almost behind the stage. >:\

I saw a couple people put 3/2/00 Providence. It was incredible seeing them in a place so small and being so close and everything, but I think overall the performence pretty much sucked.

The best time was definitely Providence, 9-8-96. Third encore: Bodies and Silverfuck.

Boston, 7-31-98 was amazing as well.

Lowell, Ma 4-29-00 was good too.

I went to all of those shows too...including 8/12/00 and 11/29/00...I would say my favs were 3/02/00 and 11/29/00...i disagree when you say their performance was shit...it kicked ass. Although it would be nice to get a good quality recording of that show...most of the stuff out there is really bad.

I agree with the 1/31/00 show. That was fucking amazing. Meeting the band, seeing the show right afterwards in a small club. That whole night was amazing.

hmm...best setlist show goes to 12.11.96...landslide w/ jimmy frog was amazing.

as far as the full fan experience goes, id give it to either 01.30.96 (soma live) or 05.23.00 (universal amphitheatre).

some of you posted some dates back in 93, 94, and one in 88. i bet those were great; in 93 and 94, they were touring siamese dream? tell me if i'm wrong /; they still could've been touring gish. i bet that 88 show, wounded, was awesome [; i wish i was around when they were.
