Should we talk to the leaders of these counties just for the sake of doing it perhaps in the hopes of finding a middle ground or finding common interest?

Or should we ignore those countries like Iran who aspire to build nuclear weapons and deny the Jewish Holocaust while suppling America’s enemies with arms?
And should we ignore counties like North Korea who have invested in Nuclear warheads while denying it’s people food? And Venezuela who deny inalienable rights?

Hell no.. And Obama showed his true "COLORS" when he supported this dumbass suggestion.. At least the White Woman has more balls than he does and suggested diplomatic pre-discussion before rushing into a PR conference with world criminals.

Given America's policies it's hard to say we have any moral authority at all anymore. To say these other countries are "evil" or what have you is arrogant and implies an ethical disparity that I am not really aware of anymore. We say we don't talk to rogue nations. Specifically, ones that defy the UN, stockpile thousands of nuclear weapons, spend ten times more on their military than the next biggest spending country, torture prisoners and deny them counsel, launch full invasions, intervene in over 70 foreign countries since World War II, and have a history of slavery, racial segregation, sexism, and continues a homophobic domestic policy.

We need to stop being a rogue nation ourselves and become the country we were meant to be, one that can lead the world with ideas rather than might.

There should be no direct discourse from the president, VP or cabinet. However, it's never a bad thing to keep lines of communication open and available through ambassadors
