Hey all. With each passing day that I see no new tour dates added, I am trying to come to terms that SP isn't coming to NY this time around (I still can't understand why) and I'm trying to figure out what everyone here thinks and what they are doing.

I thought NY shows would be placed between MA and Philly but with the addition of a show to each location, there's only 2 days between so that isn't going to happen. I am thinking of heading up to Boston to see them but what does everyone else think? Do you think SP's gonna add some NY shows? Are you planning on going out of state?

I just gotta realize my iTunes code is now probably worthless and begin making travel plans. Thanks for your thoughts guys!

Your iTunes code is now *definitely* worthless, no question there. I'm planning to go to the Normal show and possibly others. I wish they would do a NY show but in the meantime I be travelin'.....

Going to Philly. I stayed away from the initial two shows because of the weeklong gap between Boston and Philadelphia, but once the additional shows were added, I gave up hope that they were coming to New York and snapped up tickets for Friday.

Are any NY people going to multiple shows? If so have you booked hotels yet? I am looking for suggestions. The last time I stayed in Philly I stayed in a dive. I am hitting all 3 shows so I am making a long weekend out of it.

Does anyone know a girl from NY who went to the Fillmore on 7/18? I believe she was also at some Asheville shows. She made a big sign while in line at the Fillmore, it was white and I think it said "heart U" (with a heart drawn, not the word "heart", naturally).

Anyway she was really funny but I didn't get her name. She was makin g fun of my "Chicago accent", which of all supposed accents in existence, Chicago barely has any distinction! It's just the regular way of talking! Everyone else sounds different!!! Hah, yes I know I live here so I'm "used to it", but seriously whatever we sound like is nowhere near as distinctive as say a NY or Boston accent.

Anyway I'll ask some other people if they know her, she was hilarious. Just wanted to finish our conversation which was interrupted at the beginning of the show.

Philly hotel: Holiday Inn @ 4th and Arch St.

I stay here every time I'm in Philly for a concert, and we always party HARD! Perfect location in the historic district, easy walking distance from the world's finest cheesesteak vendors, also close to the infamous South Street, Liberty Bell, etc.

Was she from Long Island and named Lauren? In school for education?
