but wtf, Travis Wright, for one.

you've never seen people in line for shows that are without a doubt trying to dress like billy corgan? I've seen armies of them.

Could've sworn I had posted this, but it must've disappeared.

I say delusional. They try to prove their fandom by dressing like Billy, but most people see them and dismiss them as true fans. Hence the delusional vote.

its ok to have an idol or love for Billy or who ever else but I always thought acting, dressing like them is a bit gay. As if the person has no brains to dress and act for themselves. But I don't know anyone who acts/dresses like Billy anyway.

Seriously. When Billy isn't wearing his stagewear halloween costumes, he's not breaking any ground. I fail to see how anybody can be imitating Billy by wearing the borderline AmEagle stuff he wears.

AEagle?! wrong store. but I get what you mean...but also Billy is 40. So if other 40 yr old dress like that because of bill then its still gay. I rather him wear his mr. rogers sweaters than those cargo shorts and rainbow socks.

im talking about full blown replicas of his current stage costume...white jumpsuit, etc. not casual dressing.

Haha, I'll admit, I did it for the Asheville shows... in fact, I'm still shaving it cause it feels good. Billy may be on to something...

I wore a blue leisure suit to the fillmore show last night. it had nothing to do with billy's white ensemble which btw is not a jumpsuit - it is two separate and distinct articles of clothing; white pants, white shirt. They are not conjoined at all.

My reason for wearing a blue leisure 'jumpsuit-esque' outfit was purely for recreational purposes. Hence the name, leisure suit.

hello everyone, my name is vitaldouche, i'm too cool. i walk around on my cell phone while i'm in the front of the line at sp shows, pretending i'm talking to important people, i only stay in the front of the line while two bitches hold my spot.. i'm usually at a cyber cafe, checking my instant messages and masturbating under the table. i normally show up in line around 7:15pm when the doors open at 7:30pm and while everyone else in line has gotten sun burned and rained on.. the only problem with me is the blister on the palm of my hand. thank god for people like me.. i mean i'm god's gift to everyone.

... hey go fuck yourself.

aren't SP fans notoriously nice? i've never met one i haven't liked

there was some douche back in the days of the oboard who not only dressed like corgan on stage, but went so far as to copy his live rig. cant remember his id.

imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, but come on, thats just lame.

I remember knowing this asian girl in high school who was a huge SP fan and she had coloured her hair just like James Iha's striped hair during mcis. She looked exactly like him!

im sorry this thread insulted you travis...but oh well.

and...i was there every day up front getting burned and being uncomfortable, while you decided to show up early maybe twice the whole time I was there.

the time i actually spent out of line, which was not for more than 30 mins and equal between three people, was you know, taking shifts for a break. so YOU can go fuck yourself, preferably while dressed in your billy corgan costume.
