I will add to this as often as i can. but i badly need audio tapers. i will bring my mini disc tomorrow because i am worried no one is there to tape :(

yeah i assume if there are any tapers who can hook you up.. you just need to sync the audio with your pristine video, and you're good to go, right? the way others are talking, there were plenty of audio tapers there.. i wish they would post though if someone actually recorded..

However, another guy who wanted to run video from a tripod was told by security outside the venue that no way tripods or mic stands would be allowed.

I'm hooking up my extra ticket tonight to an AUD taper.

yeah I was wondering if he might have acted differently if monte wasn't clearly videotaping him .. that might have annoyed him .. haha.. although its great footage IMO.. the security were pretty clear about what we could/couldnt do (no autographs, no pictures) but they didn't say anything about videotaping.. so maybe if it annoyed billy we'll hear "no video" tonight, if he even comes out

oh that's a good point -- i remember at the poetry thing in 2004 someone told me about this girl videotaping him outside and either he or a security guard asked the person not to, and she continued for a bit and it put him off..

i will say this, related to my earlier posts in the thread -- i don't really feel badly or upset about the show anymore. with some more perspective, i can say that the performance won out for me. at the time however, it really did put the thing in such a negative light. my gf said her opinion of the show hasn't really changed at all, so i guess i'm more willing to accomodate bill and the way he acts. i can say i'm really looking forward to the show on the 27th

Monte, I know you said--in another thread--that you were obtaining audio for 7/16. I was at this show--I even think I saw you afterward at the bus stop, saying your video had data errors, while at the same time security tried to tell us we couldn't wait in said bus stop--and I was wondering if that audio you're getting will be available online, either from you or directly from your source. As far as I can tell, your source is the only source mentioned so far, so I figured you'd know best about when/where to find it. Thank you very much for any info!
