thanks, way better than watching the Youtube version.
I love this song on the album but I liked the Tarantula performance more.

Damn, it sounded very sloppy. Sort of like "Once Upon A Time" during the Adore tour. Terrible production, someone should really be fired.

Billy And Jimmy were the only ones wearing the outfits. Did the others say they didn't want to do that anymore? Billy seemed to be enjoying himself.

o, well, Jeff has a huge rash, which is caused by the latex on the cape.

They couldn't figure out what it was and then they saw a doctor in NY and they figured it out.

So they are going to remake the cape out of Gortex and he will begin wearing it again.

thanks!! your effort is appreciated... i love the song on the album and i was a lil worried that it wouldn't work live.. but i think it did.. its about par for the course for Billy's TV appearances.

so, I watched it. those that were disappointed with the first performance will be pleasantly surprised - this performance was good. there were some parts where billy started to mess up, but he caught them very quickly. this was an enjoyable performance that I am thankful to have seen. thanks stam.

Perhaps I am the weird one here, but I found the performance of "Tarantula" miles better (despite the overloud guitars.) The guitars on this performance were still] too loud...but here just I kind dislike the way it sounds, overall. It's like the entire song is just a wash of shrill, hi-gain guitar wall-of-soundage with little dynamic.

thanks alot!

great performance. the sound is very clear. i wish the album were mixed in this way.
for people who dont appreciate it, it sounds good on headphone, or being connected to your audio player.

btw i enjoy billy's attitude after the performance. he looks confident and comfortable when playing or on stage at live, but behave cowardly and comically when not playing. he's always like that. funny billy!

Is there a similar one for tarantula? I don't need a massive DVD file. This quality is fine.

thanks for the video.
i know that bands have no control over how the letterman crew mixes their sound, but the keyboards are SO LOUD. i cant even hear ginger (bass OR sing).

thank you, please upload more, I'm so interested in hearing all the spectacular groundbreaking songs that are changing the world, and it's so astonishing to own the footage from such important non-elitist TV shows like the Letterman show.

fuck you dude.....sure its mainstream mush and you can't get a decent energy level when playing 1 song on a ceramic floor without an audience to react to....but still, don't take it out on the guy who's sharing...you douche.

FWIW, I watched both performances straight from the television, so I am judging solely from that.

On the other hand...most Pumpkins recordings (studio, at least) DO tend to sound best over a pair of stereo headphones! I think Billy's production sound is most appreciable in that context.

btw i enjoy billy's attitude after the performance. he looks confident and comfortable when playing or on stage at live, but behave cowardly and comically when not playing. he's always like that. funny billy!
That was my favorite part of performance #2--at first he looks quite pleased, but then he just freezes up like a fucking statue! LOL
