View Full Version : Should I go to the SP Concert?

It is turning out to be a huge hassle. I was going to drive up to Sacramento on the 23rd and then my boyfriend was going going to drive us out to SF on the 24th so we could go to the concert and then spend the night in a hotel somewhere. Then on the 25th we were going to drive to lake tahoe to stay at his mom's timeshare until sunday. On sunday we would then fly to VA and spend a week with my family.

Anyway, now it seems that lake tahoe is out of the picture and that would mean I would have to drive all the way to sac on 23rd, then ride to SF on 24th, then ride back on 25th, then drive back to fresno also on the 25th. Then I would have to drive back up to sacramento some time before sunday at 6am which is when my flight leaves SMF.

I dont know if I want to drive that much to see a concert. My boyfriend thinks that is very important that I go becuase I am going to regreat it later and he thinks I am a very obsessed fan.

Are the 3 hours of lies being burned off my soul worth the 12 extra hours of driving?

I say go because you know the pumpkins are going to breakup sometime during the fall tour and then you won't have a chance to see them again for another 7 years.

blah, I think my boyfriend is going to force me to go because he thinks I will be mad at myself if don't.

yeah twice. once in nashville at their all 1998 acoustic concert at the grand ole opry... and then in 2000 in raleigh/durham. I wish the fillmore one was all acoustic.
