View Full Version : Natalie Imbruglia - "Identify"

Awkward Pause

I just came across I Love the 90s where they were talking about "Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia. It hit me that I had not heard "Identify" in years, ran upstairs to see if I still had the Stigmata soundtrack, but it's nowhere to be found. Could anyone be a badass and post a yousendit (or anything like that) link for the song? I'd really appreciate it.

Also, what's your opinion on it? It's kind eerie, because I can so easily imagine BC singing the melody. I love the weird key changes, especially in the bridge, and the atmosphere. Good stuff from the Adore era.

the imagery in this movie is really stunning; the colour schemes etc..
the soundtrack fits it really nicely too. better than the spun soundtrack fit that movie anyway.
but now i kinda cringe when i think of stigmata cause it seems like that awful show 'medium' was kinda an offshoot

wow, haven't seen this one in years...i think this might be one of my all-time favourite videos. natalie is beautiful and the backdrops are really ethereal and haunting...wonderfully composed and shot. i feel that bc could've written the song a bit better...the melody and some of the chord changes are quite awkward, though i can appreciate that they might add to the unsettling nature of the song...still, it has a lovely, bruised ambience.

Wasn't she in that Mr. Bean 007 parody movie? She's a cutie, but probably too old now.

I still dig the song, even after all these years.
