I'm going to go...I'll have two different computers going when tickets go on sale and friends also trying to get tickets. No, It will not be general admission there. I don't see how it can be. I love that they chose this venue out of everything else that is out there. I'm glad that they chose the Fox over the Fillmore (State).

I think choosing the Fox is a horrible decision. The Fillmore or St. Andrews are much more intimate and are GA.

First off they will never play st. andrews and the fillmore sucks dick. if you sit at the top you can't see shit. I saw beck there a couple years ago and i felt like i had to duck under the ceiling to view the stage.

I do agree that st. andrews is more intimate but at least they aren't playing DTE or the Palace. That's all I'm thankful for.

SP played St. Andrews during the Arising! Tour, so I don't see why they wouldn't play it again.

hey! ticketmaster finally put this show back on the list.

I'm trying to go myself. But with the !@$%'n pre-sale I don't know how good of seats (if any) am I going to get at 10am Saturday. This looks like it might become a serious case of the sucks. :cry:

This happened to me too, i went looking for mezz and balcony seats b/c I figured they'd be better than row SS (very back row main floor) then finally had to settle for F3 row SS.

yeah... i tried to manually select orchestra pit... came up with "none available"... said screw and just used "best available" (which is usually a joke).... ended up with what i got... wasn't worth risking and getting greedy like others said...

it's shouldn't be that bad of a walk... about 1.6 miles... walk-able... not the worst neighborhood in detroit.... in daylight you'd be more than fine... even at night, but you could always cab it back to the station if you're that worried (unless you're leaving next morning)...

It's just a pre-paid pass for the Fox parking ramp, if you intend on parking in the structure. You can still park there without a pass, you'll just have to pay at the gate.

The audio is a little fuzzy, but it is the best I could get. The bass was very high and I was right in front of Ginger.

truly amazing show indeed! Set the Ray was the highlight for me! They could have played just that song and I would have walked away happy! A lot of good jams tonight. And acoustic 1979 very cool too. And so was the heavy version of Ava. Only one encore - but cool that is was zero. And real cool to see BC play his black SG on quite a few songs.

Truly a great concert. 2hrs worth - and how worth it was!

Actually, before I do go to bed, what did you guys that went think of the crowd?

I dunno about the other areas, but I thought it was pretty lame back near me close to the back of section F3. Nobody seemed to care about anything except stuff like Bullet and Today. Most of them were just completely dead.

But oh well....I still yelled out every single word.

The crowd up in the orchestra pit was pretty good...though many people didn't know the newer songs or the non-singles. Virtually no one knew STRTJ.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I didn't place STRTJ at the show either. I knew I'd heard it before, but I couldn't figure out what it was.

I know.....I'm an untr00 fan, lol.

the crowd was extremely lame and we suffered for it with the one song encore. It was a good show for pumpkin standards but I could tell that corgan was not happy with the crowd response. Set the ray to jerry... I loved every second of it. It was too good to be true.

STRTJ was great, but no one in my area knew it. Sucked that they only played one encore...good show though.

I feel like they were only planning 1 song for some reason. After Zero the band minus Billy immediately left. It wasnt like a decision not to come back out.

My god! Set the FUCKING RAY!!! I heard those 2 consecutive notes start repeating and I said, "No, it can't be!" and then Jimmy and the bass came in and I was like, "HOLY SHIT it is..." It was lost on the people around me though. Bummer for them.

Just got back in to Toronto from the show. My friend from work who's also a big fan was supposed to come with me, but he couldn't and I was considering just staying home 'cause none of my other friends wanted to go all the way to Detroit. Man I'm so glad I got my cousin to come along. I kept thinking I must have missed reading some setlists from this tour that would indicate they'd actually been playing Set The Ray To Jerry on a fairly regular basis all along; I thought no way would they just pull this live rarity out of the blue like that.
And the Fox Theatre is breathtaking.

Zeph, dude I think I was the guy who talked to you a few times during the show. Didn't I give you a high five like as soon as I sat down? Was that you? lol!
