"Marketing Trick?" Spinner almost exclusively previews albums either coming out the week of, or following week. And I'm sure it was planned prior to the "leak," and very likely source of the "leak" as the spinner updates are done the weekend before the monday spinner. Spinner is the more alternative of the aol preview channels, there a more pop version that has some of the same music. There's also sponsorship by Best Buy on spinner, et al. In otherwords this isn't remarkable, unexpected, or much of a "trick."

Still a marketing trick though.
