On the Today show in Australia they announced it was around about 2 Million. That was the last time before the breakup that the band was mentioned in the Aussie press and the last time was cause that old hack John Farnham had a go at Billy for his Brinitys comment.

If you are referring to the donations from the Adore tour, then Billy says the exact figure or a figure up to the point of his interview on the Howard Stern show.

They chose a different charity for every city.
The grand total was somewhere around 2.8 million.
How much of that went to Amnesty? Im not sure.
