One of my favourite SP songs. Do you think it will ever be played again?

the solo in this song is what made me get into this band and like music in general. i sure hope they do.

i was just thinking about this song. does anybody know what billy is chanting at the end of the solo? if you listen very carefully (with headphones preferably) you can hear him chant something on one side, then chant something else on the other.

i have never heard anyone point this out before and it is all i can hear when i listen to the song now

Yes I have pointed this out a few times, but nobody has ever been able to make out the words. One of the true lyrical mysteries. Whatever it is it sounds pretty cool.

it is one of the weaker rocking songs that the pumpkins ever made. My least favorite SD song besides Spaceboy.

also the viewphoria live version blows the album version out of the water. It benefits from the strained and screamy live vocals instead of the smooth dream like production.

when mcis came out, i kinda thought 'bodies' sounded similar to 'quiet'. Or not so much sounded like it, as it has the same feel, this sort of hurtling through time / forward movement thing. Very energetic and insistent.

Completely disagree. It's one of the heaviest songs on SD. Sounds like the guitars are going to overtake themselves at some points.

I can't pick a worst song on this album.

I agree that it's one of the heavier songs on SD but I meant weaker as in not as good as the other rocking songs in the pumpkins catalog.

spaceboy is one of the few SP songs that I flat out don't like. Lyrics, arrangement, flow, etc.

The first time I listened to Siamese Dream, Cherub Rock was awesome, but Quiet made my barely hairy wiener get hard. If I heard it live again, my old wrinkly schlong would regain its youth and stand up straight with a proud salute

Easily one of SP's most underrated songs ever.

Worst song on SD- Sweet, Sweet (ironically where I got my screenname from. I though it was Anthony, not agony for at least 2 plus years before I realized. So I thought it would be appropriate)

Quiet is like a rollercoaster. It's one of the weaker songs only because it has such amazing competition. It's a good song, to be sure, but can be a bit obnoxious at points...

Hey, good to see someone has the same opinion as I do for SD. Quiet made me like the band. Sweet Sweet is the low point, but still a great song.

But...Sweet little Anthony? hahahahaha. :) thats a good one.

this song is amazing and should be played at every sp concert.....highly energetic but still somehow you end up humming to it after hearing it.

to the above poster who thinks spaceboy is a better song....go fuk yourself idiot. no comparison.

I was really hoping we'd hear "Quiet" and "Geek USA" because they seem to have a kind of vaguely political slant that might be useful in the new tour. Maybe we wont though, sadly.

And "Quiet" is definitely not the worst song on Siamese Dream. That would be "Luna." Which is still a great song, but its my least favorite.

I remember i read that the way the solo keeps going on Cherub Rock was meant to imitate an orchestra, i think they did that with Quiet to and that end part's the best bit.

One day you will grow up and realize not everyone thinks like you. Amazingly there are people in the world who would argue that every song on SD is terrible.

I love Luna and Spaceboy and didn't really get into Quiet until I saw it live. To me SD is the most perfect album in our time, so I don't see how people can even indulge in "worst song on SD" conversations.

You can blame the people who dont like Quiet for that.
