No, not Rockpalast, but Rock im Park. That's another festival. Rock am Ring and Rock im Park are like twin festivals. Most (if not all) bands that perform at Rock am Ring also perform Rock im Park. Rockpalast is a German music television show that broadcasts live concerts (mostly from festivals) since 1974.
They're doing live broadcasts at the festival shows and they usually show the concerts again at the weekends after the festivals or sometimes during the year. Maybe they are recording the Rock im Park show as well, but I don't think they will have live streams for both festivals, especially not for the same band.

they are both run by the same people and are therefore the same festival as far as i am concerned.

poor billy. his voice is going to start fucking up soon

There's nothing to record because the Rock im Park festival isn't broadcast anywhere.

I wish they would have played Doomsday Clock yesterday. Oh well.

And I wonder if Uli Jon Roth learned anything yesterday.

Anything you want to tell us! Any especially good moments? Any comments from anyone on stage? They've been so quiet so far, though yesterday at Rock Am Ring Billy talked about the new album and kept saying "Zeitgeist" (haha)

How was the crowd? Very positive reactions? Many drunken idiots?

Crowd was a bit tired, but good. I was standing right in front of the mixing desk, so I could't see the fans behind me. Before Doomsday Clock Billy spoke to the audience and asked them if "Zeitgeist" is pronounced "Zeitgeist" or "Zietgeist", so he had the laughs on his side. Then he said that they gave the new album a german name because of the german fans. And the American fans have to love him anyway :) That was the only thing i can remember, he didn't introduce Uli Jon Roth or Rudolf Schenker. Crowdsurfing throughout the hole gig, i saw many happy faces. Most fans were at least in the mid 20s, not many young people around, many went to Stone Sour and Machine Head instead before the Pumpkins started.
Good moments, Gosammer was incredible, 33 was great, the new songs were accepted well by the audience. I'm currently downloading the Rock am Ring performance, so i will see the differences. In Nürnberg they were the last act on the mainstage, after a long weekend it was a perfect ending. I saw many happy faces at the end.

So, does this count as a Scorpions renewal/revival too, then?

"We have a new album, Zeitgeist... Zeitgeist, New album, Zeitgeist, Zeitgeist, Smashing Pumpkins, New Album, Zeitgeist, July, Zeitgeist, Pumpkins, Zeitgeist, Zeitgeist, Future Embrace, Zeitgeist, New Album......... Zeitgeist."

I might be a little over exaggerating, but that is pretty much how it went.
