personally, i actually kept the candymachine 88 or whatever it was / switchblade symphony cover of Ava Adore in rotation for awhile. the only cover that got the spirit of the song (even if it wasn't, and could never be, technically accomplished) and did it justice, imo.

I bought the CD....listened to it twice and it now sits somewhere in the trunk of my car.

Just didn't hold my interest. I found myself going back to the original.

The first song blows. The rest is just "meh" although I was really into a lot of that cheesy Industrial-Goth stuff when the CD originally came out. I think there are a couple of pretty cool tracks on there though, namely Frail and Bedazzled (at least they did something different with it) and Cherub Rock I think was pretty decent.

Ever heard the "Midnite in the Patch" tribute? Now that is utter shite although it has the most hilarious version of Today I've ever head. Whenever I need a good laugh, I put that shit on.

well if you're in the US, i know that i've seen the gothic/industrial tribute at best buy under the smashing pumpkins. pretty sure they've had the same copy of it at the location by my home since it came out 'cause no one wants to buy that shit.

even so, i would not pay money for that. use teh internets.
