GlasgowKiss 06-02-2007, 09:55 PM Do not look at me man, i have got no idea what is going on in this thread. redbull 06-02-2007, 09:59 PM OH, ok then. davin 06-02-2007, 10:06 PM he meant you'e subconciously thinking about linda rowberry. :unhappy: but anyway, yes the backing vocals live are awesome. from what i hear the new record has layered billy vocals for all those parts you hear harmonized with ginger & lisa during the live show. redbull 06-02-2007, 10:07 PM linda rowberry. Ol' Couch Ass 06-02-2007, 10:24 PM I second this motion...the backup vocals during the show tonight were the best I've ever heard out of live Pumpkins. Channah 06-02-2007, 10:30 PM The backup vocals in tonight's show were excellent (though they could be overused), but I don't like Billy's backing vocals on studio Tarantula at all, and davin has just confirmed my fears that the whole album is going to be like that. :( Mo 06-02-2007, 10:30 PM Her voice sounded great on Orchid. morecowbell 06-02-2007, 10:35 PM the backing vocals were so good i hope those two are on the next album tyguy666 06-02-2007, 10:59 PM i felt they were kinda overpowering at times. Duke 06-02-2007, 11:11 PM The backing vocals are excellent. They really compliment Billy's voice well. Too bad they aren't doing that on the album. That's not to say I don't like it when it's just Billy's voice on albums. Billy's backing vocals on tarantula aren't bad, but his songs just go over better with a female voice behind him. |
