brendo_91 05-21-2007, 09:40 PM this is a good idea.
also you could get multiple camera angles, a decent audio mix - hopefully someone gets a soundboard mix?! and then this could be edited to make a live DVD??

I would not count on any soundboard patches, what with all the freedom they're already allowing. Multiple cameras and angles could lead to some FANTASTIC DVD's for our BitTorrenting pleasure, but it will take a lot of coordination
brendo_91 05-21-2007, 09:53 PM hence the coordination thread. DUH, Jay Ree Ordan.
it would require one person to volunteer to edit each show, though - people would have to send their captured video on dvd's or whatever.

I could say "DUH" again, but it's lame, so I wont.
These things will not be posted on Tradersden the next morning... it takes a lot of work to do good editing

MonteLDS 06-18-2007, 08:11 PM I will be recording the 1st as well..
Dork USA 06-18-2007, 08:45 PM that link doesn't make any sense for this topic.....
and here's my plan. I am going to buy an expensive voice recorder at like radioshack, use it for the two days that I go, then return it! Huzzah!
Do you think if i just leave it in my shirt pocket it will pick up the sound? I dont know much about voice recorders.....
hmm, something tells me that the quality from that won't be too hot but it could just be me.

the links make a lot of scene. they show where the source of the info is from. as for the recording equipment. you got to be kidding me. from Radioshack?
Mablak 06-18-2007, 10:55 PM I wish I could contribute but I know nothing of recording D:

an old-school cassette walkman would probably sound better than a voice recorder.
redbull 06-18-2007, 11:47 PM an old school walkman, depending on the mic used, could sound better than almost anything.
jczeroman 06-19-2007, 12:00 AM I am contemplating filming the 30th. That would be digital filming (not HD).
jczeroman 06-19-2007, 12:02 AM I will also volunteer to put together at least one shows dvds. You can see some of my work with my own band here, and here. Those were done with just two camera people (who weren't the greatest) but I think it worked out alright.
