I honestly think there is something missing in your soul if the idea of giant robots transforming and punching each other is not in some way a fulfillment of your deepest desires
There is something gleefully insane and over-the-top going on here; it is going to be the biggest, dumbest, loudest, blow-up-est summer action movie ever

I wish. I guess you're being sarcastic but if this really were just 2 hours of destruction and mayhem and bone-crushing collisions between robots and explosive things I would be so happy.
But I know it won't be, and I'm pretty sure I've seen most of the best bits in the trailer. They can hardly sustain compelling blow-ups and general mayhem in the trailers, I doubt they can do it well for a feature-length movie.

Bay claims there are (I think) twelve big action set-pieces; I doubt we've seen a fraction of the explodostorm
Of course this is going to be objectively awful, and will focus too much on the barely sketched human characters and not enough on the robot-on-robot mayhem we all crave deep down
I mean, I admit it--this is going to be terrible
I also can't wait to be disappointed and happy at the same time
Bay does not deserve to direct films, I agree, but this is his destiny--the worst/best awful blockbuster of all time

I think very few directors could pull this off and Michael Bay is not one of them
