first and last one are pretty striking. the one of the figure on the bed is quite evocative, i feel chilly just looking at it.

i really like this one.. the figure's harsh shadowing (esp. on his (?) back) give off a palpable tension in contrast to the soft pillow.

ha, this one reminds me of r. crumb's style. something about the crosshatching perhaps.. maybe you should try your hand at comics or caricature type stuff and make moar with the funnie.

okay; i'm done posting feedback for fear of turning this into a bad schmoozey art school-esque critiquefest. apologies in advance. i will close with a fuck you to anyone with smack to talk and no walk to walk.

in all fairness 99% of artists who try to make something original and powerful don't do any better than if they had stuck to emulating something they'd seen before

comments of this sort are why i don't bother with posting anything pertinent here. even 2 a.m. insomnia doodles seem like a waste now.

i think sometimes people fail to understand that some people just enjoy sitting down and making stuff independent of all other considerations.

who cares what that douche alex thinks. the guy does nothing but shit on other people's creativity so he can feel better about doing fucking nothing. he tries in vain to justify being uncreative by saying that everything anyone does is shitty. fuck that guy, really.
