you can tell they're trying so desperately hard to grasp the 24/7 news channel model, but when you boil down the details it ends up being just a sad attempt. In fact it's kind of pathetic considering the cost of good production these days is a fraction of what it was 10 years ago, yet local news remains the same. I can make a powerpoint presentation that looks better than this shit.

I propose to create a local news so visually appealing it could possibly be nominated for a 'best direction' at the academy awards. Wouldn't that be fucking awesome? local news except shot with an artistic perspective?
