i haven't necessarily wanted to die lately, but there is a definite fascination for that moment you blink out of existence. i believe stephen king described it best in Firestarter from teh point of view of that indian guy that killed a whole bunch of people.
i've read pretty much every stephen king book that i haven't accidentally seen the movie first.

because the word is being used as a preposition, and passed is not a preposition.

By posting idiocy like this in attempts to defend yourself you are ONLY MAKING YOURSELF LOOK MORE STUPID. "passed" in a verb. It says so in what you posted. "past" is an adjective or preposition. It is synonymous to "after" or "post." "passed" is not synonymous to those words.

Since "passed" is a verb, please explain what subject or predicate performed the action of "passed" in this sentence.

You're seriously in college? Fucking shit, you should have just admitted you made a mistake instead of trying to defend yourself with this nonsense.

i prefer the head on those legs to be able to put together a coherent thought, though.

rather than escaping incompetence by saying "hai guyz check out my legs" or "so guyz my roommate sux"

you guys are so obsessed with tiny little mistakes on an unimportant forum on the internet which doesn't even begin to matter at all in life! to me anyway!

so i used the wrong word! so i spell things wrong a lot! get over it!

all of you commenting on grammar like it even bears any importance in a thread made just for entertainment are retarded. especially jesse and nimrod who can't make up their collective cocksucking brains on whether 'passed' is a preposition or a verb.

thread title reminds me of the classmate's paper i had to check today.

it was supposed to be a one page outline of a paper we're going to write. hers was like 4 pages, double spaced and in 14 point font. for her introduction she had a full paragraph of sentence fragments. there was not a single correct sentence. i corrected the english on about half of them and gave up. i didnt want to hand that thing back to her with everything that needed correcting marked down, it would have been really offensive. the outline itself was a clumsy arrangement of incomplete and unrelated notes on the books and she listed the holy trinity "father, ghost, and holy spirit"

she was fat and black, if that's relevant

hey smartie, the problem is you tried to use 'passed' as a preposition. its 'past' that is the preposition, which you failed to use

if it didn't matter to you you wouldn't have dug up dictionary definitions and bolded what you thought "proved you correct." just admit you're dumb and move on.

well look at it this way. if you simply said "oh, my bad" or somethign similar, then the discussion on grammar would end. or maybe the same thing would happen if you said nothing. but when you rant and rave about how it doesn't matter and swear and call people idiots and cocksuckers, the topic is not quite as quickly dropped.

ok. you said: "but that what. whatever" which frankly confused me more than anything else. then futureboy said he didn't see anythign wrong with either, which prompted you to make a comment about me jumping on your nuts. and then it just continued and continued.

my response was to futureboy. and then you posted something which further proved my point, which would suggest that you still did not understand the issue. and then the name calling. so yeah, i guess that's a combination of factors.

i'm not going to apologize for caring about grammatical rules. the more exposure to the uncorrected half-witted grammatical butcherings here that i have, the more likely i am to make similar mistakes myself. since i do not particularly feel like looking like i don't even understand fundamental grammar when i communicate, I'm not going to sit by passively and let your horrible misuse of the english language erode my already less than perfect useage.

also, "but that what. whatever" is hardly "my bad" or "oh yeah, whoops". its "so what, who cares", i.e, refusal to acknowledge a mistake
