you guys like smoothies?
Effloresce 02-25-2007, 03:58 PM Smoothies rock.
I have one of those magic bullet things. Low fat yogurt + blueberries + no more than a tablespoon of sugar (cane sugar if you have it) makes for an awesome smoothie.
Travis_Wright 02-25-2007, 04:05 PM the best smoothies are if you put the orange cream cicles in the blender with a tick of milk, it is FUCKING AWESOME.
Mayfuck 02-25-2007, 04:07 PM this thread suuuuuuuuuxxxxxxx!!!
yo soy el mejor 02-25-2007, 04:14 PM you're just jealous

yo soy el mejor 02-25-2007, 04:27 PM lol yeah
this strawberry-mango smoothie is so goooooooood
that's cool.
mango is awesome, but strawberries suck. blehghh
avian chaos 02-25-2007, 04:49 PM Oh man, ******. I wish you guys could come over and we'd have a smoothie party! We always have frozen fruit stocked up in our fridge. My favorite combo is one frozen banana, a handful of frozen strawberries, some raspberries, and then enough vanilla Almond Milk to cover... So yummy. Sometimes putting some cocoa powder or cinnamon is good to spice it up.
Our blender is really old and ready to die, though. :[
I wish I were making smoothies, but instead, I'm going to school :(
yo soy el mejor 02-25-2007, 04:53 PM blenders at walmart are fairly cheap. his was $25 and it's red! i probably should have used frozen fruit instead of fresh fruit. im sure it lasts longer and is less expensive. that cinnamon idea sounds good too. i LOVE the smell of cinnamon.
im on my second cup of smoothie. im going to have to use the bathroom soon
avian chaos 02-25-2007, 04:54 PM Yeah, smoothies are like a one-way ticket to dumpsville, for sure. The nearest Wal-Mart is 3 hours away from here, and I try to steer clear of shopping there when I can, anyway. I suppose I could order one off the intranets or something... Ours isn't really that bad, it's just so old it's kinda gross, you know what I mean?
We use one of them fancy stick blenders. We have a real one too but the stick one is what we use.
yo soy el mejor 02-25-2007, 04:55 PM totally :)

ohnoitsbonnie 02-25-2007, 10:12 PM i wish i had a blender.
A woman once fed me green smoothies that were green because she added spirulina.I haven't had that in years, it's quite the miracle substance.
duovamp 02-26-2007, 01:49 AM Want to put my tender heart in a blender...
Use a stick blender, requires no extraction of the heart.
duovamp 02-26-2007, 01:56 AM *scratches chin*
You've simplified the entire process.
yo soy el mejor 02-26-2007, 01:58 AM rendez vous then im through with you
for the last week i've been making these
one banana
half cup or so of frozen peaches
half cup or so frozen strawberries
half cup or so unflavored unsweetened yogurt
one sweet and low packet
enough milk or water to get things smooth
and if you add just a tablespoon of slim fast's french vanilla shake mix it really adds a great texture and richness.
ohnoitsbonnie 02-26-2007, 02:13 AM Didn't you break yours.
Yes. That's why I don't have one
