I really thought they were done after the tour last year. It would be nice if they kept having such shows from time to time.

washington dc 930 club no pam. but damn they were good. and tiny little paho got a whole side of the stage to himself. and i got the guitar tech's setlist with the different tunings used for each song.

i was pretty annoyed that dc only got one show when other cities got multiple shows.

He seemed to be really into old-school metal recently, with Cook and McMahan's brother (the additional players on Slint tour) they formed a band called Dead Child - I didn't like it very much.
Papa M is scheduled to play ATP this year.

that's all I know - he doesn't seem to communicate too much even with his own web adminstrator these days.

I haven't gone to the Papa M board in a long time. It was awesome back in the day, when David was a big part of it. I really wish I would have saved those threads about home recording, he had some great information. It seemed like people just joined because they were into Zwan, and could "talk" to someone in the band - not because they were into Papa M.
