Can someone tell me what show this version of Honestly is from that is currently in Billy's Myspace? There are very few clear and good sounding Zwan live concert recordings out there and this seems to be one.

Hmm, I don't think that the recording on Billy's page is really all that much more "clear and good sounding" as many of the other Zwan boots I've heard. Maybe I just don't have your ears, or I'm just overall less picky, but I think that many of the recordings you can find on the internet archive (http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=zwan%20AND%20mediatype%3Aetree%20 AND%20collection%3Aetree) are plenty good. I'm listening to the 2002.12.06 show right now.

As a side note, I don't really listen to Zwan all that often, but yesterday I threw together a mp3-mix cd for my car, and *******d Jeus, I / Mary Star of the Sea because I recalled I had preferred that track. I was surprised to be reminded of just how much I do indeed like that song. I mean, that first part, the Jesus, I bit is kind of, well, less than interesting, but the following interlude is amazing. . . winding, twisting, wailing guitars, straddling the subtle line between cacophony and utter musical brilliance. And it leads into that so much softer and melodic Mary, which itself only builds back the heated emotion with increasingly intense screaming fuzz. Anybody who thought that Billy had lost something after SP clearly wasn't paying attention; Zwan rocked.

Yes, but it's a webstream, so the quality isn't perfect.

The 2003-06-06 Rock AM Ring video is better quality, but the 06-09 Pinkpop show is a much better performance. There is also a FM taping of four of the songs from that show. Other than that, most of the FM stuff you'll find will be acoustic.

Yeah, I think that's the 06-13 show, and it's during Lyric.

2003/01/22 is nice sounding and has the best version of MSOTS known to man.
