the apology was pretty cringe worthy. He makes matters worse because he doesn't know what to say and it ends up being farcical. He tries to explain that it had to do with the spontaneity of his comedy technique and how the rage just 'came out' which kind of implies it was deep-rooted, when he should have just said that he simply wanted to offend the heckler as much as possible for the interruptions and the racist remarks were just a means of doing that.
