I would only assume that Netphoria is filled to the brim with procrastinators, but there's gotta be someone out there that's studious and gets all their work done on time, never waiting till the last minute... No? Anyone?

ECHO!!!!

I have an 8 print mounted/spotted project due tomorrow at 8:00 AM, and a short response paper at 3:00 PM. I also will be writing a 4 page research paper that I haven't even started researching for over Thanksgiving break. hail yea <img src="http://forums.netphoria.org/wwwboard/icons/icon14.gif">

It is painful because I already assumed you meant me and I'm crying in my spanish class and the professor just asked me what's wrong

the thought of work terrifies me so much that i usually do it immediately so i don't have to deal with it.

this weekend i'm going to write 2 six page papers that aren't due until December 11th even though we haven't even covered the material in class yet.

what was Ben Franklin saying? I think it was "Don't put off what you could do today for tomorrow"

I have three classes this semester, all of which have an online component. I ALWAYS wait until the last day when everything is due at midnight. It's awful.

But wait, it gets worse. The online classes have a bulletin board, much like this one, where you have to post homework and responses to people. The great thing about the school message board is that you can modify your posts without any evidence of doing so (apparently because it's so outdated). There's no tag line that says "last modified by X at X...." or anything like that. On more than one occasion I've made a blank post before midnight and then worked into the wee hours of the morning. Now THAT is procrastination.

does it feel like an addiction? like you can never just get work done before the night before it's due?

Not so much, but if it wasn't for the last minute(s) nothing would get done.

Seriously. Nathan, you're my new hero

This post weirded me out at first because that's my name too. =P

I should be at a restaurant supply store right now buying stuff for my restaurant, but goddamn it I want to just relax and enjoy one damn day not doing anything.

I've been delaying to write an essay for like 2 weeks now. I think I like to torture myself.

Yeah, one of my courses this semester has no midterm-- just two research papers and a final. We have two text books and a sprinkling of other articles we're supposed to have read / be reading for the class, but I've done barely any of it. :smoke:

cool kids wait until the last minute.

its crazy how college seems to encourage procrastination. then you have those midterms where you just wait until the last minute, ditch all the classes, read the day before, and get like an A. how are you expected to go to class after that?

Seriously. This is basically my work ethic put into words. I just prioritize according to what's the most urgent, and what can wait.
